Directions from Faro Airport to Sao Rafael.
On leaving the airport follow the signs to Faro & the A22. Drive for approx 3km and follow signs for PORTIMAO (Portimao is further on than Albufeira), A22, N125 & IP1 (blue sign). Straight on, on the flyover, stay in the right hand lane, turn to the right where you see a sign to ALBUFEIRA and the road will join the road below. Beware of traffic from your left. You will then join the N125, heading towards PORTIMAO. Carry on for 3to4 kms following A22/IP1 (blue) signs.
Soon you will see a sign for the IP1, ALBUFEIRA, PORTIMAO & LISBOA. Take the turning to ALBUFEIRA. Stay on this road for approx 35kms and turn off at sign for ALBUFEIRA (N395) & GUIA.
Get into the left hand lane and follow signs to ALBUFEIRA for approx 1-2 kms. Then get into righthand lane and take turning for ALBUFEIRA . Once on slip-road you will reach a roundabout-turn right (1st exit) to ALBUFEIRA.
After approx 2kms go straight over the roundabout. Shortly after the REPSOL petrol station (on left) you will come to another roundabout. Turn right heading up the hill, signposted ALBUFEIRA (poente)& SAO RAFAEL /MARINA. Halfway up the hill go straight on, through a set of lights. You will then reach the 'DOLPHIN' roundabout.Go straight over the dolphin roundabout and carry on down the hill for about half a mile until you reach the next 'NEW MOONS' roundabout, where you turn left towards the Marina. After 200 yards you reach the roundabout on the Marina with a fountain in the middle. Turn RIGHT at this roundabout and follow the small road for about 500 yards until you see a small brown sign for Sao Rafael pointing left. Turn left at the sign and go up the steep hill, until it flattens out and bends right at the top. Then turn left just after the Mauritur Hotel and follow the road down into Sao Rafael. The road into Sao Rafael sweeps round to the right. Stay on this road and once you have passed the first turning on the right apartment 64 is in the third block of apartments on the right hand side.
